TRUTH are usually BITTER

Who won’t want a miracle solution. 1 sip and *Sparkling of Magic Dust splash* *Kaching Kaching* all fats gone and weight drops 20 stones. But till that day happens, try to be more sensible and think logic. If such a miracle *Drug* so happens to exist and its healthy, would so many fitness and health enthusiast watch their diet and lead an active lifestyle?

I guess most people are just naive and well, plainly said lazy. Always trying to find ways and means for a shortcut to success. Even if it means acting innocent, with crossed fingers stiffly, and long deep hard prayers that the sales person is telling the truth when he/she says,

“ALL YOU NEED IS JUST TAKE THIS DAILY WITHOUT EVEN HAVE TO THINK ABOUT RESTRICTING YOUR FOOD CRAVINGS OR WALK AN EXTRA METER ON THE TREADMILL. YOU CAN KEEP EATING THOSE FAST FOOD AND SUGARY DRINKS WITHOUT WORRY”

Then they show you their million dollar convincing smile…

“NOW JUST SWIPE HERE!”

And believe me, people still fall for it. Most epic scene I’ve came upon was this huge fellow… And I do mean H.U.G.E. as in YOKOZUNA HUGE as really in SUMO WRESTLER HUGE guy trying to convince this plump lady that his product works and that she should follow in his footstep by thinking straight and make smart decision swiftly. And he even adds that he is using the product many years now and its a guarantee success. I’m like (Whale Face) walking pass them and think if this lady really believe every single word he says… I guess she needs more than just prayers to save her.

So does it really work like promised? Or is it just a marketing gimmick and a sales plan. Personal Business plan to earn from the innocent and the wishing? Your call. Would you really think that by just having shakes or pills without even changing your lifestyle would solve your problem?

For one, I would tell you. DIET NEVER WORKS. It will keep coming back like BAD KARMA. But I’ll let you know. What you really need is a  change in lifestyle. As its a permanent. Make it a habit. Call it a bad habit if you will. Just as long as it here to stay. 😛

You don’t have to go all the way like I do. I am in a transition to Raw Food Diet. Probably when the situation permits, il be sprouting my own grains. I’ve been experimenting with Oat Groats but I guess I need more tools to play with. But I did tried soaking it the whole night and having them raw the very next morning. I tried eating raw cashews, peanuts. Mostly i choose veggies I lightly steam. I’m mostly vegan but I’m not vegetarian.

Most people tells me why am I torturing myself and why do I condemn myself to this sufferings. But I would tell you, I love my food very much and always feeling fresh, energized and even getting lots of compliments on my smooth, youthful skin and it’s all thanks to eating healthy. Do I cheat on my diet? Well, 1st il have to have a diet to cheat on and 2nd I don’t crave for cheat food. So you are saying I didn’t answer your questions. I’d say I have 95% clean food and sometimes I go 100% clean all the way. It all depends on the situation but i’ve a limitation. 5 – 10 % cheat meals are my max. yet I’ve maintained a good run of *I’m proud of* physique.

There is only one way to maintain a healthy life and that is to have a sensible eating habit and an active lifestyle. We have a responsibility to our love ones to not have them worry about our health. And the responsibility to be strong and healthy to care for the people we love.

Don’t let the advertisements and marketing and sales people trick you into thinking that the world actually created a miracle drug… for us to be lazy.

Just a random morning

Been 2008 since I change my lifestyle. Starting from a healthier diet. It was extremely strict that I choose not to cheat on my diet at all unless there is some unforeseen circumstances. It was an over night decision. Seeing too many people procrastinating and giving all sorts of reasons to push it further I told myself, “I’m doing it and I’m doing it NOW!”

Well, a lot of people asked me what I eat? so here goes. I started by cleaning out all sugar, salt, simple carbs and junk foods. Which I replace with raw veges, nuts, beans and grains. I stop myself from meat. Doing so I eliminate the chances of missing out on the regular worldly food. Or tempting myself to them by letting them to sit on my shelves. I started preparing my own food. But being a young adult with active social life, soon I find there are tons of situations whereby we are face with temptations. Once I was so determined to kill my taste bud that I stop all social events other that work and boycott social life till my good friend of many years thought it was ridiculous (i think) and came to my condo and dragged me out. By then I’ve already killed and numbed my tastebud to the taste of food and I don’t really bother much how it taste like but what nutrient it contains.

Then in 2009 after seeing changes to my physique I guess it was time to gym again after 9 years away from it. Twas funny. I was so determined on the 1st day that I decide to cycle to the gym. Guess determination was bigger than my strength. I was struggling 1/4 of the journey and by the time I reach the gym 45 minutes later I was breathless. I sat at the stall nearby to rest before I cycle slowly home. At least it was a workout. So being sensible, I took the bus to the gym and did my 1st 15 minutes workout. 3 days a week. after a few weeks i increased the minutes and later increased the days in a week and so forth. It’s been 4 years now since I 1st stepped into the gym again.

I’m still having my oatmeal breakfast everyday without fail. I’m still working out regularly. I still maintain my healthy diet with the benefits of the nutrients as priority. I still don’t care about the taste of the food. Still maintain HIGH FIBER, MODERATE PROTEIN & COMPLEX CARBOHYDRATES, LOW FAT diet.

I’ve maintain my physique from beginning of the year till the end of the year for 4 years now. My Health screening results shows healthiest each time I went for a checkup. Most of all I feel AWESOME!
